Today's wonderopolis asked "What is a lagoon?"

Well, just so happens we have an expert! Ethan researched lagoons and their relationship to Venice, Italy while working on his Literature Circle Role as researcher.  We were surprised to see that the word lagoon actually got its origin from the word Laguna which describes the 'lagoons' of Venice.  Check out todays wonderopolis     .    Wonderopolis

Camp Hanes DAY 2

The second day of our Camp Hanes trip began with a hike to the Hidden Cliffs.  The hike was certainly   a challenge, but the experience was well worth the work!  Our entire crew (students and chaperone) made it all the way to the top!  Here are some pictures from the hike.
